Client Success Stories From Webb Content

Take a look at our wins and see how we achieved them.

We’ve been fortunate enough to work with some stellar clients.

Here’s what we did for them.

Event Sales and Email Marketing

Heritage London Foundation needed to promote the Elsie Perrin Williams Estate Centennial, but it hadn’t done any digital marketing. Webb Content created a blog and an email campaign that sold over 60 tickets for paid events, and dozens of estate tours.

Content Thought Leadership

Open Moves’ client needed to build credibility with job-seekers and employers alike in order to succeed as an employment agency. These blogs helped the recruitment agency earn its badge of honour, using its stellar reputation to expand into the D.C. Metro area.

Thousands of Shares on Entrepreneur.com

Inspired HR needed to build a name for itself with the CEO’s brand of thought leadership. Combining her industry insights with our flair for content put the CEO at the top of Entrepreneur.com’s trending list with thousands of shares.

Event Sales and Email Marketing

Lisa entered a competitive real estate market in Guelph, Ontario, one of the region’s most desired commuter hubs in Ontario. Naturally, we set out to blow the competition’s websites out of the water—with a beautiful website and powerful cornerstone content.

Viral Content: 80,000 Views

Serial entrepreneur Steve Hulford started a new media company dedicated to telling the world’s underknown stories. Written content from Webb Content’s writer earned 80,000 website views in just 6 months, helping to boost the success of the video counterpart across the web.

Build Website Traffic That Drives Revenue for Your Business

Setting Up Successful Event Sales

The Heritage London Foundation needed to promote its flagship heritage property for its Centennial Celebration in the city of London, Ontario. But it had no marketing framework, no marketing processes, and no one to update the website.

Webb Content turned a fragmented list of donors and interested people into a segmented list of email marketing leads who ended up generating $1,200 in ticket sales for the 5-part event.

We created blogs to generate interest and warm up leads to kick off an email marketing campaign that maintained a 35% open rate and a click-through rate of 7.5% over the 5-week period.

Content Leadership in a Crowded Industry

Open Moves, an agency operating in New York, serviced a talent acquisition agency in Manhattan that needed to differentiate itself with deep, thoughtful content.

Webb Content provided years of content designed to answer specific questions, frustrations, and process-oriented questions put forward by job seekers and employers alike. The content tackled issues that no one else in the industry would touch, taking inspiration from Liz Ryan and Arlene Dickenson to offer value to customers before they even hit the Contact page.

This two-pronged approach to content established Open Moves’ client as pragmatic and down to earth, earning enough of a reputation to expand into the D.C. Metro area.

Shared Thousands of Times on Entrepreneur.com

Entrepreneur Debby Carreau was voted one of the 100 most powerful women in Canada after founding Inspired HR.

She came to Webb Content to define and boost her entrepreneurial brand through written content.

The top blogs written for this project were shared 1,500 and 1,300 times on Entrepreneur.com, respectively, earning social credibility for herself on one of the most highly read professional publications on the Internet.

A Brand-New, Optimized Website

Lisa Myra Smith entered the competitive real estate market in Guelph, Ontario. It’s a commuting hub for Toronto, Kitchener-Waterloo, Milton, Cambridge, Hamilton, and even Oakville.

She needed to differentiate herself from other agents in the city, and even her own fellow agents at TrilliumWest. To that end, we created a brand-new website for Lisa on the Squarepace platform so that she could update it without any experience programming or WordPress.

We also created a cornerstone page that boosted Lisa’s site in local search rankings, where she now gets a large chunk of traffic.

80,000 Views on Viral Content

Backyard Media’s first bona fide viral Facebook video, “20 Good News Stories You Haven’t Heard About,” earned tens of millions of views in early 2017, and the team wanted a written piece to accompany the it to drive advertising revenue.

We created a long-form post that met exceeded expectations with a 4:50 average time on page per user, earning 80,000 views in 6 months.

The post’s success paved the way for an entire series of semi-annual stories reporting on the underknown stories out there that make the world a better place.

Start the conversation to build your sales funnel the right way.

Here’s how those services have been received:

Andrew explained why websites are important, key things I should have, and really helped me understand SEO. Putting together a website is a task and with my busy schedule it seemed impossible. Andrew took over creating my website, the design and layout are beautiful… He even helped me create an amazing guide that has really increased traffic to my website. Thanks Andrew!

One piece of content, in particular, performed exceptionally well and was responsible for generating over 20K+ sessions and close to 50% of total sites visits in a two-year time frame. This article also led to 10% of all conversions for the site. I would highly recommend Andrew for any content marketing project, in particular, if it requires a thorough understanding of SEO.

Andrew took the time to understand the multi-faceted nature of our school: a well-established seminary that hosts a young congregation and runs a new counselling agency. My colleagues and I are looking forward to implementing recommendations that we believe will help strengthen and grow our communities, as well as raise public awareness… Many thanks, Andrew.

I hired Andrew for his excellent editorial and organization skills, but he quickly became an important part of all of our marketing campaigns. He has a lot of experience with content, social media, influencer, SEO, and email marketing. It was a pleasure working with him and I would recommend him to anyone looking for a mature, hard-working digital marketer who enjoys puns.
